ROSEDALE, Miss. – Simplot Grower Solutions (SGS), a division of the Simplot Company, held the grand opening of its new $40 million state-of-the-art retail facility in Rosedale, Miss. on January 20, 2026. This sizable investment enhances SGS’s ability to deliver unmatched speed, accuracy, and service to growers across the Delta, reinforcing the Company’s long-term commitment to the region’s agricultural success.

TERRENE LANDING, Miss. — An attraction for fishermen, hunters, sightseers, paddlers and riverboats. This multi-million dollar project continues to expand as a premier Mississippi River destination with the addition of a second docking facility and enhanced visitor amenities. The expansion is designed to accommodate the growing number of river cruise vessels and improve public access to the Mississippi River. Planned improvements include expanded parking, improved road access, recreational amenities, and infrastructure that supports both tourism and outdoor recreation. Terrene Landing serves as a catalyst for economic development, encouraging visitors to explore local attractions, restaurants, retail, and cultural experiences.

CLEVELAND, Miss. — Hannah Aguzzi, executive director of Cleveland-Bolivar Chamber of Commerce says, “our Economic Development team has been working to strengthen the county’s growth and support its existing businesses and industries which are vital to the region’s success. Aguzzi highlighted key initiatives focused on site development to enhance industrial opportunities and workforce development to better prepare students for future careers. These efforts are designed to increase the growth, competitiveness, and marketability of Cleveland and Bolivar County while creating new opportunities for businesses and residents.

CLEVELAND MUNICIPAL AIRPORT— The new B & P Aviation Hangar represents a major step forward for the Cleveland Municipal Airport, enhancing aviation services, supporting local businesses, and strengthening regional economic development.

“We want to have this ribbon cutting to recognize everyone who has supported the airport over the years and to say thank you to everyone who helped us secure funding for this project,” said Clint Johnson, Airport Director. “We received grants from the Federal Aviation Administration, Mississippi Department of Transportation, Delta Regional Authority, as well as a local grant match by the City of Cleveland. Without these funds and the incredible support we’ve received, we would have never been able to make this happen.”

The Cleveland-Bolivar County Chamber of Commerce also recognizes the significance of this expansion for the local economy. Hannah Aguzzi, Executive Director of the Cleveland-Bolivar County Chamber of Commerce, expressed enthusiasm about the hangar’s impact on business and industry in the region.
